The Butler County Engineer
also serves as the Storm Water Engineer and oversees the Storm
Water District. As a result of the Clean Water Act, the National
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) was formalized.
The Butler County Storm Water District is responsible for the
implementation of the County's storm water management plan and
NPDES Phase 2 regulations.
