Butler County Engineer
Greg Wilkens presented his finalized plan for a Countywide Storm
Water District to the Butler County Commissioners today. The
plan is the result of a year-long effort by city, village, and
township officials, business organizations, and representatives
from environmental groups and the development community. This
steering committee, assembled by Wilkens last year, helped oversee
and assist with development of the plan. Monthly meetings were
held to address OEPA's six minimum control measures, including
construction site runoff control, pollution prevention, and public
outreach.
