Butler
County Engineer Greg Wilkens announces the promotion of Design
Engineer Karan Singh, P.E., to the position of Engineering Manager.
Mr. Singh will oversee day to day activities related to engineering,
surveying, and right-of-way acquisition.
Employed by the Butler
County Engineer's Office since 1998, Singh earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from
Ohio State University. He earned his professional engineer's
license in 2002 and has been primarily responsible for bridge,
culvert, and roadway design while at the BCEO.
"Kar is another
example of what is great about working at the Engineer's Office
-- the people," said Wilkens. "We have an amazingly
talented and productive staff with whom I am proud to be associated.
Kar has been an instrumental part of our team. He's a good people
person and a very proficient engineer. Butler County citizens
are fortunate to have someone of his caliber working on their
behalf."
Mr. Singh resides with
his wife in Liberty Township. They have one daughter and are
expecting another child in July.
