Name of Project:
PID 106407 -- Proposed Wayne Madison Road / Trenton Road Roundabout
Project Description: Proposed improvements include
converting the existing skewed intersection to a modern roundabout
intersection with pedestrian facilities. The purpose of the project
is to reduce the amount and severity of traffic accidents at
the intersection. The project is tentatively scheduled for construction
in 2021. Environmental issues related to regulated materials,
cultural resources, ecological resources, and potential air quality
and noise impacts are being investigated as part of the environmental

Location: Edgewood Elementary School,
3440 Busenbark Road, Trenton, Ohio, 45067.
Directions: From the north: State Route
73 west of Trenton to south on Busenbark Road. From the south:
Trenton Road or Riverside Drive to north on Busenbark Road. Park
in main lot and enter through the front doors.
Meeting Format: Casual, open house style with
information stations and displays about the project. Interested
citizens may drop in at their convenience. Maps, photos, and
other material, including copies of the draft environmental studies,
will also be available for citizens to use in working discussions
with project study team representatives from the Butler County
Engineer's Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
There will also be representation from the project consulting
engineers and the City of Trenton. These representatives will
be available to answer questions and hear your ideas. Each information
station will be staffed and comment sheets will be provided.
Purpose: Provide the public with the
opportunity to review the preliminary engineering and environmental
information for the proposed Wayne Madison Road / Trenton Road
intersection improvement and to solicit feedback.
