Project: Bridge Projects

After evaluating the proposals submitted for the referenced projects, the Butler County Engineer's Office has developed a short list of the firms and ranked them in the following order:

PROJECT 1: Black Road Bridge #01.311

1. KZF Design, Inc.
2. American Structure Point, Inc.
3. Stantec Consulting Service, Inc.

PROJECT 2: Race Lane Road Bridge #02.415

1. Entran, Plc
2. Stantec Consulting Services
3. FTC&H - Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc.

PROJECT 3: Somerville Road Bridge #01.989 & Ross Hanover Road Bridge #00.180

1. FTC&H - Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc.
2. KZF Design, Inc
3.American Structure Point, Inc

PROJECT 4: Hamilton Mason Road Bridge #07.560

* 1. HDR Engineering, Inc.
* 2. American Structure Point, Inc.
* 3. Tetra Tech, Inc.

Throughout this process, it has been our objective to select the firms most qualified to provide the services required. Accordingly, we have entered into contract negotiations with the number one selected firms. Should we fail to reach an agreement during these negotiations, we will enter into negotiations with the next highest ranked firm.

We extend our sincere thanks to all firms which submitted RFQs for these projects. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to work together on another project in the future.

If you are the number one ranked consultant we will be contacting you in the near future to schedule a meeting to discuss the project requirements, the project management schedule, cost control techniques, the project team, your firm's plan for communication throughout the project, and methods of determining compensation for the required services.

* For the Hamilton Mason Road project only, the top three firms will go through an interview process to determine the designer of the project.
