Hamilton Mason Road for BCWS Project NOW A FULL CLOSURE

UPDATE FEBRUARY 14, 2022: The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Hamilton Mason Road daytime closures have been CHANGED TO A FULL CLOSURE near the Five Points intersection. Today, the road is closed to all through traffic approximately 200 feet east of the intersection and 200 feet west of Hieb Lane for a Butler County Water & Sewer Department sanitary sewer replacement project and will reopen by March 4, 2022.

Detour: Eastbound Hamilton Mason Road traffic will detour southeast on Tylersville Road and east on Hamilton Enterprise Park Drive. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Motorists are encouraged to check the BCEO website, as well as Facebook and Twitter @bceonews, for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that in preparation for the upcoming roundabout project at the Five Points intersection, Hamilton Mason Road will close approximately 200 feet east of the intersection and 200 feet west of Hieb Lane on Monday, February 14, 2022. The Butler County Water & Sewer Department requires a closure to through traffic daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a sanitary sewer replacement; however, local, emergency, and school bus access will be maintained throughout construction.

Crews working earlier or later than the restricted hours will use flaggers and law enforcement officers to manage traffic as needed. The road is tentatively scheduled to reopen on March 4, 2022.
