UPDATE JULY 25, 2023: NEARING THE END OF THE PROJECT – NEW SIGNAL COMING TO THE CRESCENTVILLE RD AND CHESTERDALE RD INTERSECTION ON MONDAY, 7/31. RESURFACING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, 7/28 & 29.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that the Crescentville Road improvement project begins on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, with the installation of a water main. As a result, motorists should expect delays from lane closures along Crescentville Road from S.R. 747 to International Boulevard. The use of flaggers will maintain traffic as the water line is installed in the eastbound lane.

The $6.1 million project funded federally and by  Greater Cincinnati Water Works, City of Springdale, West Chester Township, City of Sharonville, and Butler County Water and Sewer, involves widening East Crescentville Road to a three-lane section with a two-way left-turn lane. Additionally, signal improvements are included at the intersections of Tivoli Lane, Chesterdale Road, and International Road. Project completion is scheduled for summer 2023.
