The Butler County Engineer’s Office proudly announces that Nick Okuley, P.E., S.I., Design Engineer, has successfully obtained his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. Having completed his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2019, Okuley began his BCEO career as a co-op student until his full-time position after graduating. Nick is primarily responsible for bridge design.
Professional Engineer licensure in the State of Ohio requires one to graduate from an approved engineering curriculum of at least four years in a recognized school or college, have at least four years of practical experience in the engineering field, and then pass a rigorous 16 hours of testing.
Butler County Engineer Greg Wilkens expressed his pride in Okuley’s achievement, stating, “Nick has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and a strong work ethic and has contributed significantly to the success of numerous projects undertaken by the Butler County Engineer’s Office. I congratulate him and look forward to his continued contributions to our office and the community.”
