West Chester Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that the contractor for the Butler County Traffic Signal Upgrade project will perform work at Union Centre Boulevard and West Chester Road on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, which will take the traffic signal out of service. The signal will be dark or on red flash for long periods throughout the day. A “dark” or “flashing red” signal should be treated as an all-way stop condition.

Law enforcement will be present to assist with traffic control; however, motorists are encouraged to avoid the area to avoid congestion if possible.
