Fairfield Township / Liberty Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports a traffic advisory on Liberty Fairfield Road at the bridge located 0.2 miles south of S.R. 4, between Shafor Drive and Randall Drive, starting the week of July 6, 2026. Construction for a bridge replacement project will begin with lane restrictions using flaggers to control traffic in the work zone. Motorists can anticipate a full 10-day road closure tentatively scheduled for early August.

This $1.3 million bridge improvement project, funded by the BCEO and performed by Sunesis Construction Company, is expected to be completed by early September, weather permitting.
