Butler County Engineer Greg Wilkens announces the promotion of Construction Manager David Quimby, P.E., S.I. to Construction Deputy, effective January 4, 2021. As Construction Deputy, Mr. Quimby assumes responsibility for the Construction Department.

Quimby started at the Butler County Engineer’s Office as a co-op student in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2005. He received his registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in 2008 and has primarily overseen day-to-day activities relating to bridge and roadway construction while at the BCEO.

“I am confident his years of experience at the BCEO will provide for a bright future for our Construction Department,” said Wilkens.

Mr. Quimby resides with his wife and two daughters in Liberty Township.
