The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that the intersection of Lesourdsville West Chester Road and Beckett Ridge Boulevard will close for the construction of a single-lane roundabout beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020. The 11-week intersection improvement project will also include the installation of lighting and a closed storm sewer drainage system.
During this closure, local access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles up to the project limits; however, motorists will not be able to pass through the actual construction zone. The detour will be posted for all through traffic.
Detour: Northbound Lesourdsville West Chester Road traffic will detour northeast on Cincinnati Dayton Road and west on Tylersville Road.
The Lesourdsville West Chester Road at Beckett Ridge Boulevard Roundabout project was awarded to the Eagle Bridge Company of Sidney, Ohio, which submitted the bid of $1,393,631, and is funded with Federal and local BCEO funds. The new roundabaout is tentatively scheduled to open the week of August 10, 2020.
