The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Trenton Road will close approximately one-quarter of a mile west and east of Wayne Madison Road for the first phase of construction of the Wayne Madison Road at Trenton Road roundabout beginning Monday, August 23, 2021.  While local access will be maintained for residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles up to the project limits during the closure, motorists will not be permitted to pass through the actual construction zone.  Trenton Road will remain closed until the completion of the project; however, Wayne Madison Road’s north/south traffic will be maintained.  The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in November 2021.

Detour: Eastbound Trenton Road traffic will detour north on U.S. 127, northeast on Jacksonburg Road, and east on S.R. 73.  Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
