The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports plans from CSX to close Taylor Road and Booth Road at the railroad crossing to replace ties on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.  The BCEO has worked relentlessly to confirm these CSX closure details and dates for the safe commuting of Butler County motorists. Though emergency vehicles will have access, the roads will be closed to all other through traffic and are tentatively scheduled to reopen on September 8, 2021.

Booth Road Detour: Eastbound Booth Road traffic will detour south on Kehr Road, southeast on Stillwell Beckett Road, and north on North Law Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Taylor Road Detour: Northbound Taylor Road traffic will detour southeast on Ringwood Road and northwest on U.S. 27.  Southbound traffic will detour southeast on U.S. 27 and west on Ringwood Road.
