UPDATE DECEMBER 14, 2021: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that the Elk Creek Road bridge (over Elk Creek) will close 0.7 miles south of West Alexandria Road and 0.7 miles north of S.R. 122  for bridge test borings beginning Monday, December 13, 2021, in preparation for the bridge replacement in 2023. The road will be closed to all through traffic and reopen by the end of the day on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

Detour: Northbound Elk Creek Road traffic will detour east/southeast on S.R. 122 and north/northwest on West Alexandria Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
