UPDATE SEPTEMBER 9, 2022: CSX INFORMED US THAT THEY DID NOT PERFORM THE WORK LAST WEEK AND WILL CLOSE THE ROAD ON MONDAY, 9/12/22.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that CSX plans to close Franklin Madison Road at the railroad crossing approximately 0.4 miles north of Trenton Franklin Road for tie repairs beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2022. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on September 10, 2022.

Detour: Northbound Franklin Madison Road traffic will detour west on Trenton Franklin Road, north on S.R. 4, and east on Keister Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
