UPDATE OCTOBER 7, 2022: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Elk Creek Road will close 2.2 miles north of Howe Road and 1.1 miles south of S.R. 122 for an additional box culvert replacement beginning Monday, September 26, 2022. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on October 7, 2022.

Detour: Northbound Elk Creek Road traffic will detour east on Howe Road, northeast on Trenton Franklin Road, and northwest on S.R. 122. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
