The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports nighttime lane and ramp closures on S.R. 129 and the Liberty Interchange beginning Tuesday, November 8, 2022, as well as a traffic phase switch scheduled for Friday night. Eastbound and westbound lane closures on S.R. 129 will start at 8:00 p.m. Various ramp closures at S.R. 129 and Cincinnati Dayton Road and the Liberty Interchange will occur nightly this week from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The contractor will perform road repairs, milling, and surfacing on the lanes and ramps as temperatures allow throughout the week and switch traffic to a new configuration by Saturday morning, November 12, weather permitting.

Portable message boards will direct drivers to access westbound S.R. 129 from Cox Road using the roundabout and bridge; Liberty Way will no longer provide access to S.R. 129.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes to avoid the work zone entirely during overnight construction. Check the BCEO website, as well as Facebook and Twitter @bceonews, for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.
