Hanover Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Gene Avenue will close approximately 100 feet north of Amarillo Drive and 0.16 miles south of Stahlheber Road for a culvert replacement beginning Monday, March 6, 2023, for up to 60 days. Crews will replace an old deteriorating concrete box culvert with a new one featuring wingwalls and headwalls. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is scheduled to reopen on April 28, 2023, weather permitting.

Detour: Southbound Gene Avenue traffic will detour south on Boyle Road, east on San Angelo Drive, and northeast on Amarillo Drive. Northbound traffic will reverse this route.
