UPDATE MAY 16, 2023: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Chapel Road will close approximately 150 feet north of Layhigh Road and 0.87 miles south of S.R. 129 for a drainage improvement project beginning Monday, March 27, 2023. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen by May 22, 2023.

Detour: Northbound Chapel Road traffic will detour east on Layhigh Road, north on Robinson Road, and west on S.R. 129. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
