UPDATE AUGUST 22, 2023: BOTH PROJECTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Stillwell Beckett Road will close 0.8 miles northwest of Stephenson Road and 0.9 miles southeast of Harley Road/Kehr Road for two adjacent culvert pipe replacements starting Wednesday, August 9, 2023. BCEO will begin construction on the culvert just west of the railroad tracks and, after its completion, move to the nearby culvert on the east side. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 22, 2023.
Detour: Southeast-bound Stillwell Beckett Road traffic will detour south on Harley Road and east on Stephenson Road. Northwest-bound traffic will reverse this route.
