UPDATE AUGUST 17, 2023: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Yankee Road will close approximately one-quarter of a mile north of Hankins Road and five feet south of Carson Road for a Lemon Township culvert replacement project beginning Monday, August 14, 2023.  East and west movements on Yankee Road/Carson Road will remain; however, northbound and southbound Yankee Road traffic must use the posted detour. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 18, 2023.

Detour: Northbound Yankee Road traffic will detour east on Linn Road, north on Cincinnati Dayton Road to South Main Street, and west on Carson Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
