UPDATE OCTOBER 6, 2023: DELAYED START — CONSTRUCTION BEGAN TODAY AND SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13TH.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Stillwell Road will close approximately 500 feet east of Bunker Hill Woods Road and 0.4 miles west of South Pierson Road for the last in a series of four culvert replacements using the same detour beginning Monday, October 2, 2023. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on October 5, 2023.
Detour: Eastbound Stillwell Road traffic will detour north on Bunker Hill Woods Road, east on Garver Elliot Road, northeast on Woods Station Road, west on Stillwell Beckett Road, and south on U.S. 27. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
