UPDATE 6/27: MILL STREET WILL NOT CLOSE ON 7/1……WE HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN A NEW DATE.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close Mill Street at the tracks west of U.S. 127 to tamp through the crossing and repave the approaches beginning Monday, July 1, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 2 at 5:00 p.m.

Detour: Northbound Mill Street traffic will detour south on West Elkton Road, east on Fear Not Mills Road, north on U.S. 127, and west on West Ritter Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
