UPDATE AUGUST 23, 2024: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Schoenling Road will close 0.5 miles west of California Road and five feet east of Bay Road for bridge work beginning Monday, August 12, 2024. The BCEO will construct a wing wall to support the main bridge structure, requiring the road to be closed to all through traffic. Schoenling Road is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 23, 2024.

Detour: Westbound Schoenling Road traffic will detour north on California Road, west on Okeana Drewersburg Road, and south on South State Line Road. Eastbound traffic will reverse this route.
