UPDATE NOVEMBER 5, 2024: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that South Pierson Road will close 0.16 miles north of Stillwell Road and approximately one-half mile south of North Pierson Road for two culvert replacements performed by Reily Township beginning Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on November 1, 2024.

Detour: Northbound South Pierson Road traffic will detour east on Stillwell Road, north on DeCamp Road, west on Stillwell Beckett Road, southwest on Woods Station Road, and south on Garver Elliott Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.

Motorists are encouraged to check here, as well as Facebook and X @bceonews, for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.
