UPDATE JULY 31, 2025: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Fairfield Road will close 1.6 miles east of Harmony Road and 0.7 miles west of Riggs Road for a culvert replacement beginning Monday, July 14, 2025. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 1, 2025.

Detour: Eastbound Fairfield Road traffic will detour south on Harmony Road, east on Hetrick Road to Brookville Road, and north on Riggs Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
