Kyles Station Rd Closes for Bridge replacement March 16

Road Closures

March 05, 2026

Liberty Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Kyles Station Road will close 0.6 miles east of Lesourdsville West Chester Road and 0.9 miles west of Mauds Hughes Road for a design-build bridge replacement beginning Monday, March 16, 2026. The existing three-span bridge over Gregory Creek will be replaced with a single-span box-beam structure, featuring a relocated waterline, widened roadway approaches, a 10-foot-wide raised sidewalk along the north side of the bridge, and upgraded guardrails. The road will be closed to all through traffic; however, local traffic will be maintained up to the construction limits from either side of the bridge.

The $2.7 million improvement will be performed by Brumbaugh Construction in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the County Engineers Association of Ohio (CEAO). The project is expected to be completed by mid-August 2026, weather permitting.

Detour: Eastbound Kyles Station Road traffic will detour south on Lesourdsville West Chester Road, east on Millikin Road, and north on Mauds Hughes Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Motorists are encouraged to check here and the PROJECTS MAP, as well as Facebook and X @bceonews, for any date or status changes regarding this and other closures/advisories.
