West Chester Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports the closure of the McCauly Road and Dimmick Road intersection beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026, for a roundabout installation. This full closure of both roads will last approximately ten weeks, with reopening expected prior to the start of school in early August. Local traffic will be maintained up to the construction limits during this period.

Federal funds from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and local funds from West Chester Township financed this $1.6 million roundabout project, which was awarded to Barrett Paving Materials Inc.

Detour: Motorists on McCauly Road and Dimmick Road may use U.S. 42, West Chester Road, Butler Warren Road, and Fields Ertel Road as a detour route.
