The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Schoenling Road will close for a bridge replacement over Lee Creek, just east of Bay Road, beginning Monday, August 3, 2026. The road, including the intersection at Bay Road, will be closed to all through traffic until the end of November. Residential and local traffic will be maintained up to the construction zone from either side.

The $2.27 million design-build bridge improvement, federally funded by the County Engineers Association of Ohio (CEAO), will be performed by KT Holden Construction LLC, based in Lebanon, Ohio.

Detour: Eastbound Schoenling Road traffic will detour north on State Line Road, east on Okeana Drewersburg Road, and south on California Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
