West Chester Township
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports the overnight closure of West Chester Road to through traffic between Barret Road and Selkirk Drive for a Duke Energy project on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Duke crews will be replacing a transmission pole and will need to close the road from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24. This project is expected to last one day but could take two.
Detour: Eastbound West Chester Road traffic will detour northeast on Revere Run, northwest on Wintergreen Drive, west on Hollywood Drive, southwest on Forestview Drive, and south on Barret Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
