UPDATE AUGUST 31, 2021: CSX INFORMED US THAT MORMAN ROAD IS CLOSED AND WILL REOPEN WEDNESDAY MORNING, 9/1/21. STAHLHEBER ROAD WILL NOT BE CLOSED TODAY.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that CSX Railroad will close two roads on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, to replace ties in the railroad crossings. The roads will be closed to all through traffic but will not be closed simultaneously.
First, Stahlheber Road will close between Morman Road and Boyle Road. When Stahlheber Road reopens, Morman Road will close between Stahlheber Road and S.R. 130. The detours are as follows:
Stahlheber Road Detour: Eastbound Stahlheber Road traffic will detour north on Mormon Road, southeast on S.R. 130, and south on Boyle Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
Mormon Road Detour: Northbound Morman Road traffic will detour east on Stahlheber Road, north on Boyle Road, and west on S.R. 130. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
