UPDATE: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Buckley Road is closed at the bridge over Four Mile Creek, approximately 0.35 west of S.R. 732, for a bridge pier rehabilitation. During construction, the bridge’s structural integrity will be weakened, requiring the use of an alternate road for residential and emergency use west of the creek, which will run from Buckley Road to Main Loop Road at Hueston Woods State Park.

The road is closed to all through traffic and tentatively scheduled to reopen in July 2022.

Detour: Westbound Buckley Road traffic will detour north on S.R. 732, west on Lodge Road, and south on Main Loop Road. Eastbound traffic will reverse this route.
