Village of New Miami, St. Clair Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that CSX plans to close three crossings simultaneously for railroad tie repairs beginning Monday, September 12, 2022. Augspurger Avenue in the Village of New Miami will be closed at the crossing approximately 60 feet east of U.S. 127. In St. Clair Township, Jackson Road will close at the crossing 0.10 miles south of Trenton Road, and Trenton Road will close at the crossing 100 feet south of the North Riverside Drive leg in the roundabout. The roads will be closed to all through traffic and are tentatively scheduled to reopen on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Augspurger Ave/Augspurger Road Detour: Eastbound Augspurger Road traffic will detour north on U.S. 127, east on Trenton Road, and south on Wayne Madison Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Jackson Road Detour:  Northbound Jackson Road traffic will detour east on Augspurger Road, north on Wayne Madison Road, and southwest on Trenton Road/North Riverside Drive. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.

Trenton Road Detour:  Eastbound Trenton Road traffic will detour north on Wehr Road, east on North Riverside Drive, and take the Trenton Road exit out of the roundabout.
