Oxford Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Brookville Road will close to all through traffic at the bridge over Indian Creek, 0.38 miles east of the Ohio-Indiana state line and approximately 150 feet west of Indian Creek Road, (one mile west of Riggs Rd), beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, for a bridge deck rigid overlay project.

This bridge improvement, paid for with local BCEO funds, is part of a $1.1 million two-bridge contract with Sunesis Construction and is scheduled for completion in about 30 days, weather permitting.

Detour: Eastbound Brookville Road traffic will detour north on Harmony Road, east on Bath Road to Fairfield Road, and south on Riggs Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
