The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Nichols Road will close to all through traffic at the bridge over Curlane Run, approximately 0.7 miles east of U.S. 27 and 0.63 miles west of Lanes Mill Road, beginning Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for a superstructure replacement.

The Nichols Road bridge project is scheduled for completion by mid- to late July, and is part of a one-million-dollar multi-bridge contract with Sunesis Construction, paid for with state (Ohio Public Works Commission) and local BCEO funds.

Detour: Eastbound Nichols Road traffic will detour southeast on U.S. 27, east on Stillwell Beckett Road, and north on Lanes Mill Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
