St. Clair Township
UPDATE AUGUST 1, 2025: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.
UPDATE JULY 24, 2025: The BCEO crew is expected to be finished on 7/25 as planned. The Township is doing road repairs in conjunction with our project, using the same contractor. This will extend the closure until next Wednesday or Thursday.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Hogue Road will close 0.9 miles east of Gardner Road and 0.2 miles west of Eaton Road for a bridge deck repair project that will provide safer passage over a branch of Four Mile Creek beginning Monday, June 30, 2025. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 25, 2025.
Detour: Eastbound Hogue Road traffic will detour southeast on S.R. 177, east on Beissinger Road, and north on Eaton Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
Motorists are encouraged to check here and the PROJECTS MAP, as well as Facebook and X @bceonews, for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.
