UPDATE AUGUST 21, 2025: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Eaton Road will close two miles north of Taylor School Road and 0.2 miles south of S.R. 127 for a bridge improvement project beginning Monday, July 28, 2025. BCEO crews will perform deck repairs, waterproofing, and repaving of the bridge and road. Eaton Road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 22, 2025.
Detour: Northbound Eaton Road traffic will detour west on Taylor School Road, north on Huston Road, east on S.R. 73, and southeast on S.R. 127/73. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
