The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports the start of construction at the Cox Road and Kingsgate Way intersection beginning Monday, May 4, 2026. The upcoming roundabout installation requires preliminary water line work under traffic until the roads are closed to all through traffic on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. This full closure will last approximately ten weeks, with reopening expected prior to the start of school in early August. Local traffic will have access up to the construction zone during this period.

State and local funds from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC), the BCEO, and West Chester Township financed this $1 million roundabout project, which was awarded to Eagle Bridge Co. of Sidney, Ohio.

Detour: Cox Road and Kingsgate Way motorists may use Barret Road, Butler Warren Road, and Tylersville Road as a detour route.
