The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Bonham Road will close at the intersection of Shadowy Hills Drive for a bridge replacement beginning Monday, June 1, 2026.

The project, in cooperation with the City of Oxford, involves replacing the existing bridge with a box culvert, extending the existing storm sewer pipes, and replacing disturbed roadway, sidewalk, and curb ramps. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is expected to open in mid-August.

Detour: Eastbound Bonham Road traffic will detour north on S.R. 732, northeast on Somerville Road, and south on Oxford Milford Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
