The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Alert New London Road will close to through traffic at the bridge 5 feet east of Race Lane Road and 0.4 miles west of Chapel Road for a bridge deck waterproofing and repair project beginning Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The road is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 17, 2026.
Detour: Eastbound Alert New London Road traffic will detour north on Race Lane Road, southeast on S.R. 126, and south on Chapel Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
