UPDATE JUNE 8, 2026: THE HAMILTON NEW LONDON PROJECT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 15, 2026.
UPDATE MAY 14, 2026: THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN POSTPONED, AND THE ROAD WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Hamilton New London Road will close 0.3 miles northeast of U.S. 27 at Moores Road and 0.5 miles southwest of Black Road for a drainage improvement project beginning Monday, June 15, 2026. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on June 26, 2026.
Detour: Eastbound Hamilton New London Road traffic will detour north on U.S. 27, east on Ross Hanover Road, and south on Black Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
