The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Yankee Road will close one-tenth of a mile north of the Kyles Station Road roundabout and about 200 feet south of Welney Run for culvert and water main work beginning Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The work requires the road to be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 16; however, the contractor will start water main construction under traffic before the road closure.

Detour: Northbound Yankee Road traffic will detour west on Kyles Station Road, north on Mauds Hughes Road, and east on Hankins Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
