Madison Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that West Alexandria Road will close 0.3 miles east of Streebee Road and 0.6 miles west of Elk Creek Road for two bridge projects beginning Monday, August 24, 2026. BCEO crews will be repairing and waterproofing the bridge decks, which requires the road to be closed to all through traffic until October 2, 2026, weather permitting.

Detour: Northwestbound West Alexandria Road traffic will detour northeast on Elk Creek Road to Browns Run Road, west on Oxford Road, and south on Puddenbag Road. Southeastbound traffic will reverse this route.
