The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Windisch Road will close at the bridge approximately 0.4 miles north of Crescentville Road for a superstructure replacement and pier encasement project beginning Monday, August 24, 2026.

Part of a $1.5 million multi-bridge rehabilitation contract with Ford Development Corporation, this improvement is funded locally by the BCEO and with state Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) and federal Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Jobs & Commerce dollars.

The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen in early to mid-November.

Detour: Northbound Windisch Road traffic will detour east on Crescentville Road, north on Cincinnati Dayton Road, and west on Allen Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
