The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Chapel Road will close 0.7 miles north of Jenkins Road and 0.25 miles south of Layhigh Road for a culvert pipe replacement beginning Monday, July 26, 2021. Two culvert pipe replacement projects from Jenkins Road to Layhigh Road use the same detour; however, Chapel Road will reopen between the projects. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 30, 2021.

Detour: Northbound Chapel Road traffic will detour east on Jenkins Road, north on Bell Road, and west on Layhigh Road.  Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
