UPDATE AUGUST 25, 2021: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Chapel Road will close 0.2 miles north of Layhigh Road and 0.6 miles south of S.R. 129 for a culvert pipe replacement beginning Monday, August 2, 2021. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 13, 2021.

Detour: Northbound Chapel Road traffic will detour east on Layhigh Road, north on Robinson Road, and west on S.R. 129 (Hamilton Scipio Road). Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
