UPDATE JULY 22, 2021: THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Chapel Road will close 0.3 miles north of Jenkins Road and 0.6 miles south of Layhigh Road for a culvert pipe replacement on July 19, 2021.  The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 23, 2021.

(There will be two culvert pipe replacements from Jenkins Road to Layhigh Road; however, Chapel Road will reopen between the projects. )

Detour: Northbound Chapel Road traffic will detour east on Jenkins Road, north on Bell Road, and west on Layhigh Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
